I try to stay positive and pray for the best. Hearing hubby voice daily helps get through each day that's always a bonus. All of us will get through these hard times all in the good lords hands.

bahaha well don't make me sound TOO crazy. They told me when they recieved the file, and they told me that it is pending initial review, after which the applicant would be contacted directly. Then a whole paragraph about how they are striving to be as efficient as possible... etc etc. and to check my status on ecas. Not much more than that. But at least it is communication.

Okay ladies, is there something fishy going on here? These are the emails I have recieved from CIC so far:

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/10/18 on behalf of the following member
Date: November 7, 2012
You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent
Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the
Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s), you may contact the visa office by e-mail,
fax, or in writing as follows:

This Family Class application was received by our office on 18 October 2012after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the applicant directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps


How could my file have reached Kingston on the same day it was recieved in Missisauga and before I even recieved Sponsorship approval?.... Am I crazy or does this not make sense.
