i Kingston thread,

Here is a great Jamaican magazine that is published by my friend jaemagazine.com just to keep you all in touch of what is going in JA!!! while you wait for your significant other.

Although there is a lot of crime in JA a lot of young people are doing big things....the Caribbean fashion week is full of young talent even Toronto's very own Lubica Slovak left Toronto to open a fashion boutique in Kingston...not all of us Jamaicans want to leave the island in fact most of us who either go to UWI or travel abroad for University usually come back to Jamaica to help our little island... like Mission Catwalk's Kennea Linton and the Gleaner editor Mavis and even female race car driver Natasha Chang amongst many many others... radio personality Raggashanti that came from the ghetto and received his Ph.D in Connecticut came back to JA... we are opening businesses such as day spas like the Bella Oasis and Sushi bars like Majestic Sushi & Grill, coffee houses and yoga and pilates studios like Afya.

I say all this to say, I know some of you are worried about your spouses because of the crime here... but there is another side of JA that we Jamaicans love! trust me your spouses will make it up there safe and sound! ONE LOVE
