Well 2 days and I am leaving for the big day!!!

Looking forward to this new step in my life and can't wait to spend a couple weeks down in JA!!

So now for some even better news.....the wait time for sponsorship approval has now gone down to 35 days So let's hope it keeps going down. They are working on applications from September 26th

i need some advice
my step sister is going to ja getting married next febuary
i have been apporved for time off from work to go
i really want to go but i am not sure whats going to be going on with hubbys papers by then
i dont know if i should wait to book my ticket or if i should book it from now
plus have to buy a dress for me and my daughter
if i knew cause straight if he is here by then i dont think i am gonna go cause
call me selfish but i would rather spend the time with my hubby and step daughter
arghhh this is hard

tuff call....WELL book if u get a good deal...worse case scenario u cancel and get a travel credit, that u can use on Hubby's plane ticket instead lol

If you book with west jet, you can cancel if you need to and they will hold the full credit for one year, then when you rebook, they will deduct $50 per ticket to change it.

If you book with west jet, you can cancel if you need to and they will hold the full credit for one year, then when you rebook, they will deduct $50 per ticket to change it.

And with Westjet you can change the name....where if you were to book with a tour operator or with Scare errrr i mean Air Canada you can't change the name...or so they say you can't. Depends on the person you get that day. I Fight with them all the time when I am booking for clients

Ladies, I feel all of your frustation. One year ago yesterday I mailed my husbands application out. 2 months later I was approved as a sponsor afterwards it took 4 months to see IN process in ECAS. I remember looking at ladies getting thru in 4 mths 5 mths and asking God why can't that be me. I was crazy to think imy husband couuld get thru so quick because my situation is so complex but I hoped.

I realized its best to stop comparing my case to others jus look for guidance. I found how to be patient and just pray cause I know he'll be home soon.

And ladies your husband is coming, or your wife. Keep sending the emails and proof if you need to. But forget about comparing your situation to others.
