yo....its almost like they want us to be poor like everyone else, so they keep us coming down like fools, and spend of we likkle bit of saving time n time again - so no further ahead.....no men....plus nuff money spent...prolly also a good way for them to be brining revenue in to the country if u think about it.....

BUT as i said before i left....every day is one day closer..........*sigh

Howdy howdy! Sandy blowing some winds our way tonight! Ugh, it was a wet, windy day out there today.

From what I have observed, "medicals received" is no longer a sign of impending finalization of a file. It USED TO BE. About 2 years ago when I first came to this forum, it was the case that KG would request the medicals as the final step and seeing "medicals received" on eCAS was a sure-fire sign you were in the PPR stage. That is no longer the case, as apparently CPC-M is now responsible for uploading the medicals.

When your application is received at CPC-M, it says "application received". It will change to "decision made" when the sponsor is approved. There is no "in process" stage here, as this is a simple check to make sure the sponsor meets the eligibility criteria and there is a completed application which will be sent to the VO. You MAY see "medicals received" at this stage.

When your file gets to KG, your spouse's section of eCAS will switch over to "application received" once the application is uploaded and the file created by KG. If you did not see "medicals received" soon after or concurrently with the sponsor's approval, you may now see "medicals received". From there, it MAY move to "in process" to signal it is close to finalization. I say "may" because this is not guaranteed. In some cases, it may simply go to "decision made" from "application received" and your spouse is contacted for PPR and the other finalization steps.

one thing i can count on for sure is by Dec 2013 MY MAN will be here!!!!!!!!!

so no matter what...the past year flew by, so this is it!!!!!!!

DEc 2013 is my worse time case scenario.......but i sure hope my man can be here for my bday.....that 4 months away....i could actually hold off 4 months before going back if i KNEW he'd be here by then.....but God knows....after 2 months i start losing my marbles.....so we will see, we WILL see.

Hi all, Just my 2 cents worth
I don't think that "medicals received" means anything else than what it says. Reason I said this is because when we (my wife & I) applied and she was approved as sponsor, our ecas was immediately updated with "medicals received".
At that time our file had not even left Miss. as yet.
We then went 3 months for POS to contact us and another 4 months until we received our COPR.

first on my husbands side, when his file was first transferred it showed both my address as his home and mailing....then a few weeks after that it only showed his mailing address (which is my address), and nothing under home address, then few week ago they updated the modification i requested to the mailing address, and put back the home address also showing the modification i had requested in the mailing address...

long story short...im wondering if its me who did that....or an officer,

Sorry to be a pain but I don't even know where in ecas to even see where the addresses are....don't know where to look for that information. Can you point me in the right direction?
