the fact that the RCMP said that it's not in the system yet and after it is in the system it's another 3 months. My husband reaches his 16 mth mark in January. Plus he'll need an arc to return here to canada

I am not sure and someone correct me if I am wrong but I think the 16 months is from the time it reaches Kingston, not from the date you filed. :-[

Grrrrrr no, he mailed everything express on Friday to me.(they told him 5 business days) I have been tracking it but all it says is that it hasn't reached an Canada Post outlet yet. Pretty sure it probably already had its plane ride here so it is probably sitting in the Toronto Airport or something. LOL tracking that thing is an addiction as bad as checking your ECAS 20 times a day LOL

ok guys, getting the run around on my GCMS notes... I was under the impression that once you have sent in a full request including the signed Access to Information Act, $5 fee, and copy of passport, that you did not have to send these on repeat requests...?? They now want these all over again. Do I have to provide this again?


EDIT: Well just got off the phone with them and I guess I do have to resubmit all pieces of information including the $5 fee. The reason they said is my old request has been opened and closed and so now I am starting a new request. OK, just sucks I won't have the notes before I leave for Jamaica now

You should call them to find out status of your file. If they're working on July 4th aps, then surely yours has been opened and perhaps even approved already.
