CONGRATS BUTTONS!! I have modified my last post of the spreadsheet to include your update!

Well Mawnin Fam Jam!

This puts some hope and life into our forum, I love it! It has been a slow summer with our last visa issued to jamaicansgirl in July and last update of Ready's "in process" a couple weeks ago. Very nice to see some movement in a positive direction for Kingston and hopefully an end to the silence. There are some ladies that have fallen quiet in here that have been waiting a very long time for their husbands. Neika, Icesfluffy, FirstLadyKing, tintin, LHNB, and FaithfullyWaiting, we are all thinking, hoping and praying for you! Your time is near. Just hold the faith. Remember, we are here to support you!

It's Friday! What's everyone's plans for the long weekend???

Awww, this is so sweet Jamgirl xoxo
I pass thru every once in awhile..it's easier for me that way. Some days are better than the rest. Ecas shows no changes, so I just decided to set my mind on the 16 month mark and anything sooner would be a pleasant surprise. Trying to keep busy so the time goes by faster. But hoping the 2011's won't have to wait much longer.

16 months from the day your file is transferred to Kingston.

Oh brother! Are you serious?! So I'm looking at February 2013 to just touch 12 months!?!?
This is crazy...

CharlieD - if ur around, quick question. I remember reading a post you made advising someone to have their hubby check for their file # that started with a B??? Am I reading wrong? In the beginning we received my client ID and file # for hubby that starts with an F...should we be expecting something different?

Hey LHNB!

Wa gwan!

My number is an F# so not sure but I remember reading somewhere that they did issue B#'s but I think with the switchover from CAIPS to GCMS, it is now F#'s, I could be wrong tho... yes, maybe Charlie can clarify...

And I don;t think Blondie was trying to panic anyone lol... CIC website is stating that 80% of cases thru KGN get finished in 16 months or less, so I think that is why she used 16 in her statement.

So glad to hear from you! Take your time, and keep yourself busy. Always good to hear you are keeping up with us and don't be shy! ;D

im starting to get ancy over here - and my file only been in Kingston maybe a month x_x

the crazy hysteria keeps poking at me, but i keep punching it back lol

i dont know whats going on , or how long itll be if i have to wait 16 - im lookin at Dec 2013 fakk dat!!!

Anniversary just around the bend - i can hold it.

Kingston gives you a file number that starts with "B" when they start processing your application. They gave me one for my hubby in August however there still has been no change yet. But then again, they don't seem to update the ecas until you're basically in Canada and finished!

true but i thought Family applications were supposed to take priority over all, even the student visas >:(

i thought so too and maybe they do but that is what i have used over the summer to keep my spirts up saying ok its almost back to school so they are focusing on school visas and once those are done they will be pushing the family cases ..... just my thoughts to get through the day
