So in checking out my March people on the forum, I noticed that someone who applied March 7th, has no gotten a decision on their status. PP already requested everything.. of course they are at a different VO (new dehli). They are a hop skip and jump away from being finished. I am sooooo happy for them but it makes me a little sad that things at our VO has to move so slow. I can't even get a wink from KGN, nothing! The people in this forum are so stressed from being away and yet we can do no better..

Y should the wait be longer than 6 months...

yeah you have to be careful not to get to depressed....people who filed 1 month after me are on the plane to Canada and I am still waiting for an AOR from my VO.....well the ND VO is fast fast...so I try to remember that and my VO is slow slow...so I try and remember and stay positive but sometimes it is not easy.......oh well.....I knew it was a long haul but I truly did not think it would bother me this much....its like having a baby.....they tell you the pain is bad but until you give birth you have no idea

Hi KJG, I just read your post and wanted to say that it`s possible you may not even receive an AOR from the KGN VO. I received a letter stating that our file was being transferred to the Kingston VO on March 25th and after that we heard nothing until about 3 weeks ago. I had emailed them asking for confirmation. I told them I wanted to be reassured that my husband`s app wasn`t lost in transit. The day after I contacted them they emailed me back telling me they have received my husband`s app and it is in process. So it seems as though they weren`t going to send me an AOR or at least not before they started to process it! Hopefully this will give you some positive vibes. I`m learning that the kingston vo is slow in communication and doesn`t give a damn about updating the online status. LOL... :-[

On a serious note, FW is correct about KG not issuing AORs. I haven't heard of anyone getting one since 2010. I realize this forum is just a sample, but I figure at some point in almost 2 years (my word, I have been here long!) if they had issued any, someone should have gotten one!

thanks faithfullywaiting...but I am in here because I love your stories and how you support each other...my vo is actually Havana...and I think it is pretty much the same as Kingston.....these islands!!! LOL

And yes I have a date in my mind to contact Havana if no word by August 15th just to ask them to confirm they actually have my file....!!!

I prefer the term swing...not trapeze....LOL.....

Canuck, excellent advice...you too are a smart man, I trust you are well? it's been a while, I've been busy(eh,eh,eh...)

woiiii some serious going on in here, likkle mix up....not my scene.... hope it returns to the "happy place" because if it werent for the love, support and positive vibes this place brought me, would of been a lot tougher for me to get through this.

If people offer advice whether you like it or not, embrace it..learn from it accept it, you dont have to live by it if you choose, but the advice that's been given to me thus far, from here..has made me live up to my responsibilities as a wife, a better person!

We received our AOR in March via email.

Absolutely Cee. You know where I found I was going wrong too, is that I was behaving like women who weren't married, who weren't in committed relationships, who couldn't find love and didn't know how to find love. Then one day God slapped me and said go find some wise long married women to talk to and trust me, their wisdom was like honey to my hive....that was how my journey to understanding this thing called marriage began and lucky for me, I met my second husband after that transformation. The worse thing I think for us women is to have to keep changing partners hoping to find one that will stick when we are honest with ourselves and can look in the mirror and allow God to transform us from the inside out we then become what men want in a wife. Pretty looks, hot clothes, bad attitude may get you 2-5 years of marriage tops, but being able to understand him and connect with him on a deeper level will get a you a marriage that will last a lifetime.
