Did you send directly to embassy or through VAC?

I just took my documents to DHL and the rep said she will know what to do

oh wow the letter from embassy said to go through VAC when i contacted them they said to dhl to them and pay their fee to transfer to embassy then pay fee for them to dhl back o us. I thought it was silly they seem like a middle man. and I read on here everyone was doing 2 way courier service to embassy. but I follow the letter hoping it wouldnt be delayed for not following instructions

Got PPR today. Exactly 2 months since DM. Funny enough I’m in Jamaica with hubby and we were in Kingston when I got the email. So we sent it in today through DHL.

I think it very unfair for ircc to Request rprf and threaten to cancel your application if u dont pay it within 30 day, an than after payment ircc sit on your application for months without a update, that money could have use somewhere else till ircc really ready for it to complete your application

The rep at DHL ask me if I want 2 way or 1 way and because I had no idea what she meant, I ask her to explain so I ended up paying for 2 way

Please submit your package to the nearest Visa Application Centre along with the VAC Passport Transmission fee.

This is the information I got so I contacted the VAC and they said to courier to them pay the Transmission fee and return courier fee they never mentioned anything about sending directly to embassy in total we paid 10k which $7500 to the vac and $2500 at dhl.

I'm just glad we are at this stage just annoyed with all this running around.

I mean it's covid they could have skipped the whole visa in Passport step just send copy by email n let immigration verify in the system when immigrant gets to Canada for landing.
