January 2020 applicant. I just received my pre-arrival letter. Does anyone knows how long after the pre-arrival letter they request for the passport?

can't say I received Pre Arrival letter May 20th and I still have not received PPR

I use a representative so the only thing I have access to is ecas and as we all know its not very informative. the reason why I ask is because I receive Pre Arrival letter but nothing changes in ecas

Did your representative inform you that you received the pre-arrival letter? We are using a representative as well and aren’t able to access anything besides ecas too, which doesn’t provide much.

yes she sent the correspondent that was sent to her in an email

I booked a ticket for my husband for July 17.
His passport is on its way back to the VAC from the High Commission, so he should receive it next week.

My husbands passport is at DHL ready for pick up! I’m so happy the journey is basically over. Only travelling to deal with. To everyone who is still waiting hang in there, the journey will soon be over. Kingston looks like they are working !

Is anyone aware that we must get a consent form when using TT services when sending passports to the VAC ?

Yes you must two signed consent forms they can be found on the vac website for download whichever vac u gonna use I found mine on vfsglobalsvg

May 21st! And it reached high commission on the 27th.
