Yesterday we got a call from kingston visa office to add my newborn, it then was followed up an instruction which we are trying to figure out. They said that my sponsor which is my husband is to contact sydney, pay the fee "An amended sponsorship listing your child as an accompanying dependent

Please send the documents/information to the address listed below:

B1P 0H5.
They didn't specify which form.
We also got a medical request for him to do, gonna try and do that today.
The next part is to figure out the form and send the information to sydney , the fee to add him is paid but we have to submit the receipt to sydney along with the form. I really thought the additional info was to send to KVO.. I'm happy we got an update though.

I think I replied to you with it. But I know one of them is the IMM008 General application. That's the form you add that information in regards to accompanying dependants. But there are 2 forms I believe so it's best your husband call and confirm.

About a week they updated the file

Reason why I asked is that I dont no why my file take so long.
File received june 26, 2019
Processing started august 26, 2019
Medical request September 18, 2020
Medical done October 7, 2020
And yet no update whatsoever

Ours took 2 1/2 weeks to say passed.

Ok.. I did my , I did my baby medical on the 21 and it was updated yesterday the 22nd on the system saying passed.

Oh wow. Well they're all over the place. But I know my husbands took some time because of the bloodwork or some other test that they don't give children. Maybe that's why.

Yes, that's true. Mine took about 1 week to update I think, I did mine feb of this year.

Soooo I decided to call IRCC today. Good and ok news. The rep I got told me that our Background checks and everything but security has passed. However the file is still sitting in an office somewhere in Sydney NS.... He said it could mean that they might be digitizing it. However he's not sure of that process. So I should sit tight for a bit to see what happens there. Can't believe I haven't been moved yet. Just hope it's a good thing in the long run.

I'm Jan 2020, however I missed being transferred earlier because of a previous sponsorship and then... Bop... Covid
