Extacly on the 8 month since my app received date.

Mine is the exact same as destinyjam2can.

I have emailed them today as my husband had to get a new passport done. Maybe that will spark them to start working on my file.

Checking for updates is disheartening, that is forsure.

I think it changes on the page. Mine at this time also says no interview is needed and I think that will be changed as well. I'm really praying for this to be done by June before the stop for the summer.

I hope so for you too. I have 13 more weeks to go till we reach the 1 year mark. We hope to travel before June though.

what is the hold up on yours, I see some people get through in 7 months, I'm really hoping I get through in 7 months.

Each case is different I suppose. Some officers work faster than some. I have a dependant that is now coming. When we initially filed we mentioned the child wasn't coming. I believe this held our file back from processing as they gave us a month. Hubby has some wrapping up down there so the process is okay for us how its going.

I wrote an email to Kingston in Sept last year advising I would like to have the non accompanying child changed to accompanying. They advised me to get in contact with CIC Mississauga. The medical was already done at that time. I had to fill out a new sponsor sponsorship form, included a copy of the child's passport, passport pictures, the non accompanying parent form his mother signed off on and the receipt for $150.00.
