Kids PR renew special case

Hello My wife and sons are Permanent Residents of Canada their PR expires in july 2019

My wife will meet the 730 days requirement for her renewal the date it expires but my kids will stay short in days becaues they had to study in thier country. My questions are:

1.- My kids PR will automaticlly renew with my wife renew no matter they didn`t meet de days requierement?
2.- I`ve heard that because they are minors and thay can`t deside where to live they no necesary have to meet the 730 day requirement to renew their PR. ¿Is this correct?
3. Any information or tips you can provide me to get my kid PR renew?

As per the other reply meeting the residency obligation is an individual responsibility so your children will need to meet the residency obligation themselves, has nothing to do with either your or your wife’s residency obligation.
