kids passport copies ! - help me out

Hello
I have completed PR renewal applications to my family ( wife and 4 kids) . do I have to include in the kids application their passport copies ( all pages) as I didn't see in the instructions under 18 yeas old guide but many friends told me that I must send passport copies for them

any ideas pleas !
