Kid's Last name change on passport - Entering Canada with old name in PR

Hello Friends,

I need someone's help with the last name change on my kids PP Vs PR card.

We have changed my kid's last name on his passport in India as he is a citizen of India and a PR here.
But on his PR card he has his old last name.

Now that he need to come back to Canada, since his last name change on his Pass port is not matching with his PR card -

1. Is it going to be a problem at Indian Air port while boarding the flight? B'coz usually the agents check your PR card to make sure you have valid visa to travel to Canada.
2. Once he enters Canada, is it going to create a problem as they dont match? (If not scanned on the kiosk machine, we always have an option to go to the sitting in airport to scan the PR card).
3. Is he going to ask any supportive documents apart from passport?
4. If so, What supportive documents we need to carry apart from passport to show we changed it in India and he is the same person. Will the court papers or affidavate would do to show we changed it legally?

Pleas please help as Idont want to have problem as I am travelling alone with him. Thank you!!

You need the court papers and affidavit as a minimum when you show up at the border. Best get them translated and notarized if not in English or French. Secondary Inspection will go over this with in detail to make sure its the same person and questioning may get intrusive but too many PRs smuggling/trafficking kids into Canada this route (spoiling it for genuine cases). I'd suggest carry extra Canadian ID such as health card for the kid and say some school reports with photo to show CBSA. The airline may be the initial problem - call them and explain your situation!

Omg!!!!! This is too much complications.
What are the possibilities of changing his name here in Canada?

Is it easy? Compared to facing so many obligations?
Can I change his last name after coming witj a PR status?
I doubt, isnt it?
We need to wait for the Canadian cotizenship I believe???
