just got an email from cic

And when i logged in it has a note saying

Note: This means you or anyone else will no longer be able to access your application status and address information on this website. You will have to contact us to learn about changes to your application status and to update your address information.

I'm trying to contact them now. My application is still in process. Any ideas what this means?? Trying to contact them now.

You have to wait a few days before you can log in to Ecas to check the status of your application. It sounds like the email is your AOR.

I guess I am as confused as you why you would get an email like that.
Were you able to see the status of your app in ecas before and now you don't?

And getting an email saying that said check ecas for udates

you have mistakingly press a portion to remove u from the website. The instruction Is boldly written there. All u have to do is to contact CIC to reset ur login password.

I see this same note when I log in as well. It is telling you this because if you were to click on the box that says, "Remove website access to my application status and address information". It is letting you know that you won't be able to access your application anymore.
As long as you can still see your status and you have not clicked on that box you should be okay.

Your subject line says you got an email from CIC, so that confused me.
Did you get an email or was it just the note you were seeing?

Yes, you are good. Just do not click the "Remove Accesss" box.
