Not likely, though occasionally they do phone the sponsor. Sometimes the sponsor is visiting the applicant when the interview is held, go to the embassy with the applicant for moral support, and end up being interviewed too.
No, it is more likely that the visa officer will ask you about your sponsor's life in Canada, and will expect you to know his or her daily routines.

Oh my god, I am such a hypochondriac I swear, I'm experiencing some unusual changes in my digestive system and went through their "symptom checker" and resulted in possible stomach cancers and polyps - stayed up all night with mixed emotions running a mile a minute!! :-\
 
Had such a good laugh this afternoon on facetime with my husband,answering these questions .We definitely didn't agree on question # 7 ..he likes to do the dishes after dinner,me whenever ..even with having a dishwasher. ;D
