Hi, I sent my inland application (was still called that when I sent!) last August. This week I recieved an email asking me to send a police check from the country where I have spent most of my adult life (UK). When I sent the application I sent a U.K. Police check with it but it was over 2 years old (I had been living in Canada since it was issued so I thought it was still valid as the cic website states) I'm worried now though that they want me to get a new one (i.e. Less than 6 months old) is this the case or do they just send the email out to everyone?
Also where in the processing timeline is the police check part of the application? Does it mean I'm getting closer to getting PR?
Thanks!
Carly

I would apply for a new UK Police Certificate for Immigration Purposes, the chances are that because it is over 3 months old that they would require a fresher one. This can be applied for on the website and it can be sent to you in 2 day postage for £80.00. I also applied for Inland Application and I included my Police Certificate from 2015 but I know I'm going to have to submit a new one if they ask for it from England and one from Canada.
