They want us to include labels with return address in our application. Where can I get these labels?

Thanks

I printed it on normal paper but mine were in English and they didn't use it at least in Sydney.

Did you use just a regular paper?
I thought it should be a ready label that they can stick to the envelope.
What did they use then?

Did you get reply from Sydney already? Is there a topic where you wrote about your case?

I used regular paper. They sent me a letter in an envelope with a window on it, so the address on their letter (to me) showed through the window.
Remember, I sent it from the US so thats why they may not have used my address label. We presume that they are using the label to send back the reply letter but we don't really know. If our presumption is correct and in your country address written in english will reach its destination then you could probably write the address in English.

Address label in sticky paper makes sense and you can buy one of those from any bookshop. Its what kids in many countries stick in front of their school books to show who the owner is.

Here is my case:

Good luck.

spa,

I used the sticky address labels that you mentioned. It made more sense because that meant less effort for them than using one written on regular paper. Asked for 'address labels' at a nearby stationery store and the guy got me the right ones. Maybe it's a familiar term to them.

For the reply from Sydney, like in Rupesh's case, they weren't used. The reply was on printed sheets of paper within a window envelope. So, the chances are either they use the address labels for a subsequent stage or for returns/refusals (scary!).

Same sticky labels , same window letter although not from the US

Canadastan,

is the address usually written in English or in Arabic where you are from?

I supposed that mine and Charmeuse's letter were sent with the window because letters written in english will reach the destination in both our countries.

I am trying to find a country where english addresses may not reach the destination, somewhere like siberia for example.
How does it work in Saudi? I wonder if they have a list of countries where they send the letters with english addresses and some countries where they don't.

but I received the same envelope you received.

best wishes

Canadastan

Thanks for your replies. Appreciate it.

Another question:

I'm gonna order an international money order from the post office. Do you think it's gonna work and they will accept it in Sydney?

I've sent my application today to Sydney, NS. Wanna see what will happen next:)

Do you gave a topic where you write about your cases?

do you mean trackitt.com?

No I mean cases that you discuss on the forum.

Do they put Sydney cases on trackitt? I've never seen anything saying Sydney there.

if you go to FSW, on trackitt.com and look at ohcanada, that is mine. you might have to order it by the application send in column (thats not what its called but its something like that), i'd be on the second page. Application send in is when i sent it to sydney, document request is when they requested me to send documents to them. ....actually you are right, the column there are made for the old process but most of us applicants with the new process are still filling up the columns.

Couldn't find your case. Probably it's better if I wait for their reply and then add my case to trackitt too.

What bothers me is that they give you only 120 days to send documents. At the same time according to FBI it takes longer to get clearance certificate.

FBI takes much much less than 120days. They estimate 4 weeks but in reality, they can get it to you in 10 days even. This excludes postal times but even if you live in Timbuktu, it should reach you within say 8 weeks.

The other way to do this is to try get all your documents upfront.

It depends on your aversion to risk ....risk vs. reward.
