Hello everyone,

I have a 4 year BSc. in Computer Science from Greece and I have the credentials assessment.
Will I be able to apply under any program, with 1 year work experience in Canada,
as a Junior Systems Administrator?

Does the fact that the position is "Junior" matter?

The job duties are like 90% identical to the duties mentioned on the government immigration website, under:
2281 - Computer network technicians

Someone please advise..

Thanks

Junior, infact Designation doesn't matter.. if duties are roughly 70% or more match you are good to go!!

Hi All,

DO you think the below duties fit for systems / server administrator under 2281:

• Troubleshoot and Administer end user’s network account on the servers to ensure proper authentication and authorization.
• Work on tickets that were escalated by the first level support at the call center and provide problem solving solutions and/or work around.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis to ensure effective resolution by making changes on the server administration consoles and avoid re-occurrence of the issue.
• Follow up on pending tickets to ensure proper issue resolution and closure.
• Adhere to service level agreement (SLA) by closely monitoring the metrics indicating levels of service thereby ensuring high availability.

Please let me know ASAP. Thank you !!

ALL,

Please direct all your queries to below forum. The ADMIN of this forum (KSA0510) is really a helpful guy and answers almost every query. Of Course, you should should use it cautiously, you alone are responsible for your NOC application anyways ;D. I am just providing this info as for NOC 2281, the blwo forum is the most active one in terms of queries. Good Luck!
