just a advise...

If you do not have birth certificate then You may like to get this done through your local municipality. Again it may require one month...you have time now to initiate the process or keep the ground work ready

).. i have organised an affidavit from parents on stamped paper .. will this be sufficient ?
2. Secondly about University Transcripts – My understanding of process for obtaining transcript is as below:
a. We submit photocopy of original transcript
b. University people verify and attest this copy of transcript and enclose it in university sealed and stamped envelope
c. Handover this envelope back to us
3. When we use this word Transcript - it does not include Degree Certificate. Transcript is only Marks Sheet - please confirm if my understanding is correct
4. We need to organised transcript from University only for Graduation and Post Graduation ?? and not for intermediate/ 12th ?

Your understanding of transcripts from university is correct. If you are too old ;-), you may have received a transcript for each year or semester. These days universities are giving consolidated transcript for the entire program. You can get and enclose this consolidated transcript in the envelope.

Also, if you can't go, you can send your representative to get this done.

June 15th applicants are getting their CC/DD Charged, Can anyone tell how much time will it to get D charge for 23rd June as 19th & 20th june was sat & Sun

Hi Raph4J,

Many people on this list are using Credit cards. In my case, the credit card was charged, and I was notified by SMS on Friday. I called the CC company and made sure that the card is charged. The on-line statement still doesn't show the charge. It may take few days for it to show.

So, You might want to wait for couple of days or check with your credit card company to see if your card has been charged.

Raph4j:- ur app rchd CIO on 7th june under NOC1111 but CC/DD not charged yet......did u chk wid ur bank whether the money is debited frm ur a/c....

Many thanks for your reply & information. As you have mentioned, “processing time at CHC ND is from 6-9 months”, what is the start date for my case? Is it Feb 2010, March 2010 or June 2010? Would you please tell me what factors vary this period (6-9 months)? And how reliable and updated is the eCAS system?

Thank you for your rerply.
I am checking the activities in my credit card online. No charge was made yet from CIO.
By the way, based on the list, other who applied earlier are still waiting for reply from CIO, while others who applied on a later date received a reply already. This bothers me, but I''m still positive. 8)
