hi guys,

lakh is talking about my reapplying, not hers.

thanks.

this is the reply I got for my case spefic enquiry on yesterday:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

If you applied as a Federal Skilled Worker on or after February 27, 2008 and before June 26, 2010 , your application will take two years or more to be processed. This is due to the fact that Canada received over 425,000 applications under this program during this period.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process federal skilled worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected. During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision. This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the federal skilled worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Dear friend,

Don't withdraw your application now because you are almost near to get your medical as I beleive that all pre june 2010 will receive thier medical within the next few months.my evidence is many october 2009 now are geting thier medicals and that is mean they are working accordingly on files

best wishes

Any news or movement from Buffalo? Still wanting for 2nd AOR, and for being honest I starting to get a bit anxious. Lots of things to plan and arrange, I'm sure most of you are on the same page. Thanks!
All the best!

My dates are almost exactly the same as yours:
June 24, 2010 to Sydney
Approved on Nov 2, 2010
Sent application to Buffalo on Nov 28, 2010
Still waiting for the 2nd AOR...

Let's keep in touch!

hi lakh,

same here.

well, I still haven't decided yet if I will reapply after 1stjuly2011. In fact, I'm thinking not to reapply, but lets see what will happen.

I hope we will hear good news this very month.

lamhey

Well,.. i understand its not that easy to collect all documents again and reapply but if you apply again you will get visa within next six months otherwise they can take one more year to process prejune applications.
decision is completely yours.
wish you all the best. ;)

you can send mail to your VO requesting your original documents and to keep photocopies with them you can mention the reason of applying again but yes it takes time of few months to get them back.

I think you can not refer old file for originals, they will not open your file before time to review your documents for processing of new file and moreover you submitted that at VO and now processing will be done at CIO.

Lakhvinder,

Yes but report was empty.
There was info regarding my AOR and some comments from the officer from Sydney... No BFD, nothing....
I will order second one in July.

Ok so they have not yet decided when our files will be reviewed next. i think you should wait till dec before order CAIPs again.
