Application submitted to CIO: June, 2010
First AOR by e-mail: October 2010

Full document submission: January 2011

Current ecas status: RBVO

Today, i received a letter from CHC London, stating that they have created a file for me. They have also attached a new file number with the letter. In the letter, it is mentioned that they will start processiing if my application is elligible.

I want to know is this letter a 2nd AOR? have anybody also received the same letter?

Yes, this is the 2nd AOR. Really great to hear your news :)

All the best!

smiling_face :)

Does it mean that my points are calculated and i am elligible for processing?

I want to know what does it mean of receiving "2nd AOR"

Your points have been calculated by CIO primarily and that's why you have been asked to submit docs to VO. 2nd AOR means the VO has received all your documents.

2nd AOR means they just received documents nothing more then this.
they did not even calculated your score and your eligibility. they
clearly mentioned in letter that they can reject your application at this
point

And likewise, before your application can be placed in processing, Visa office will make a final determination as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the determination as well as a refund. If your application is determined to be eligible for processing, processing will begin on a priority basis.
Applications in the Federal Skilled Worker category require an average of 7/8 months to process at this office.

Hi Morning

Why u want to withdraw after getting medical?

As you have got medicals your case is In Process which means you are not eligible for Refund of Fees.

The medical I have had done is for my spousal application, not FSW. The FSW is the one I wanted to withdraw.

Thanks

Morning!

hi all,

Now, it's time to contact about the processing of our applications at ND VO, and I hope you guys must have started contacting them. Although it might not be worthing (since post june applications are in priority), it is our right to know about the processing of our applications at the visa office.

I got the 2nd AOR dated 6th Jan, and it has written the followings:
".. if you have not received any instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are requested to contact this office directly...."

I'm goona contacting them after 7th july as per the instruction.

hey dude,

Yeah surely this is your right to know that whats happening with your file...but if i have to suggest you regarding query to VO is just wait sometime like one month because if new NOC comes before that and if your occupation lies on it then definitely it will take extra speed.. no doubt!

Nice post Teaspoon.

Those whose applications reached Sydney after June 25th are in the first priority;
those whose application arrived on June 25th or earlier are in the second.
In both cases, come July 1st, they'll be lower by one priority...Hmmm...got some points!!!

Files lodged post-26 June 2010 are the first priority (at least until June 30th)..after June 30th - second priority.
Files lodged pre-26 June 2010 are the second priority (at least until June 30th)...after June 30th - third priority.

;D
