Hi Matthew,

Yeah I think it's a personal call. As I said, the site certainly seems genuine and in all likelyhood it probably is :) My apologies for questioning your integrity, but when it comes to handing over information on the internet I draw on my own experience and as a rule of thumb - one cannot be too careful :)

One question, I am a software developer myself, how do you actually query ECAS? Do they provide some kind of API or web service?

Wayne.

P.S. My ECAS status changed this morning from "Received by Visa Office" to "In Process (started processing 15 March)!

Many congrates to you...and best of luck for further processing!
BTW when did u send your full docs and your VO...

Removal of mailing address is happening to all of us...either there is something wrong with this diseased irritable software or there is moving situation. again i don't know whether this is good or bad or just insignificant. :P

Hi, our full docs were sent with our initial application to CIO Sydney at the end of August 2010 (we are post June 26 applicant).

They transferred the full application to London, I think around end of January time (I had my confirmation of positive final determination of eligibility from CIO on 15 December, so probably took about a month after that for the app to reach London).

rizwan72, what I do ask is that people not spread unfounded allegations. Yes, I know this is the internet, and I'm fairly thick-skinned, but mud-slinging against me personally and claiming it is a definite scam with absolutely no evidence to support that is just low. Also, if it was a scam, I would be pretty stupid to host it linked to my personal website with my real name and contact info attached.

Matthew

Dear Matthew,

I appologize to touch your feelings. But I myself has become victim of a scams. As a programmer my self , I know that your site definitely gets all user information in database, like applicant file number, date of birth, place of birth and email address also. After getting this information any further query can be done. This is complete information of an applicant. By this information an application can be withdrawn, false information can be sent, even payment can be requested etc etc. And Visa office will be right to act upon provided information because Visa office only recognize your identity by your information only. That's why original ecas site forces an applicant to accept internet usage terms. It even provides a link to remove the ecase status by internet site.
So we can see how much careful are Canadian visa officers.
Furthermore any good hacker can hack your site and get all important information of all applicants Because your site is personal and definitely will not be protected by professional firewall devices. Even NASE web sites have been hacked. That 's why original ecas site provides a link to remove the information checking by their site. They do this to avoid any legal consequences in case of a hacker attack and misusing the applicant's information.
Hopefully you will understand my poisition.

Rizwan72

Clearly everyone has a choice to use, or not use the tracking site.

The issue was really about unfounded allegations.

The risk of hacking that you rightly raise, also applies to the CIC web sites.
Canadian government sites are under attack all the time.

The big question is, why would a hacker want to attack the immigration process, or immigrants when there are far more lucrative targets out there?

NDVO is taking total 11 months on an average to process applications...but i can't understand why post june 26 applicants are getting Medicals so quickly??
In some other threads about that has...everybody is confused...i mean some of them is saying that our pre june 26 people will have to wait longer..and some of them saying that our quotas has been full...
I know that CHC ND is running late from its stipulated time-frame.

Don't know what exactly is happening...

plz share... ::)

The main reason post-June-26 are getting medicals so quickly is the process itself. IMO they arrive at VO and go straight to background/security/medicals stage, since CIO already did their final eligibility review.

I *think* they do security checks concurrently with medicals being done - so basically if the background checks are ok and they are happy with the documents, medicals can be issued within a few days of the post-June-26 application going into process.

With pre-June-26 that can't happen because the full eligibility review still has to be done.

I think once at the medicals stage the process is the same for pre and post June 26 - so roughly 3 months from medicals to PPR for most visa offices.

Applicants of Singapore VO are getting MR along with 2nd AOR...thats what i read in the other thread...

well how capable is NDVO to do the same..if it would be the same case for ND as Singapore than it would be damn joyous moment for all of us who are in queue for 2nd AOR. ;D

And in my case why i'm not getting 2nd AOR? Since its 70+ days since Full Docs to VO...still CIOS eligibility Review Complete status..
And BTW what are the chances of employee inquiries and when will the do that?

Any opinion..

Thanx

Hi - yeah the process is going to differ from Visa Office to Visa Office. New Delhi actually request passports with medical requests + RPRF and you have to be without your passport for like 3 months whilst waiting for security checks to finish!

As for 2nd AOR, some offices issue 2nd AOR and then ECAS changes afterwards to "In Process". Ours just changed to "In Process" with a date they started processing, but we have still not received a 2nd AOR. They might not even issue them for London VO >J26, we don't know yet.

As for your particular case, I think they will send 2nd AOR when they are actually ready to start processing. Clearly the queue for eligibility reviews at visa office (which >J26 applicants skip) is bigger than the queue for background/security/medicals.

Of course I do not know for sure, this is all just my guesswork based on what I have seen and heard.

Wayne.

I got my 2 AOR on February.
Docs were sent to VO in January.
So when VO will start to procces my application?
I am expecting to find In-Process status till the end of April ))))

Helloooooooooo,

Why my ecas status is not showing RBVO though NDVO have already received it 70 days back....whats going on.....
QUITE STRANGE!!!!!!!!
