News like yours gives me hope again.:D
May I ask, do you know which visa office processed your file?

My theory is CIC simply stopped updating the application status to IP2 properly.
I am AOR June 24 applicant, I was in NA2 for two months until I was surprised by both IP2 and PPR (issued by Moscow office) on October 4th.

Congratulations to you. I have also applied as of June 02, 2017.
Can some please tell how to confirm if application is in IP2?

Congrats again Ollka! :)
I think your theory is right because I know at least 4 other people who got IP2 and PPR in 1 day this month after being stuck at NA2 for a long time.

Hi @wolfman10,
I dont have IP2 yet, but what Ive read on the forum is:
When you submit your application your background check starts out at NA(1).
Once youve cleared medicals, the BGC changes to "in progress" (IP1).
Then after some checks the BGC changes back to NA for a second time (NA2).
After more checks the BGC status changes to "processing background check" (IP2).
Usually PPR is soon to follow.

Senior members, please correct me if Im wrong...

Hello Linda_G
Thank you for your detailed response.
I appreciate it. My background check is Processing(IP2) and I have only 2 weeks of work permit left. Getting little anxious

did you called CIC or order GCMS notes.
I called CIC, my eligibility is still under review. CIC’s review and selection is awesome. I have been working here for last 2 years and have got my work permit extended for next 2 years under the same NOC.

Hi Linda!

Thank you once again) I believe we talked already on myimmitracker website. My visa office is Moscow.
I saw from your case that you started a bit later than me, so you should have it soon!
