@legalfalcon, my friend has an outland dependant, and he got this in his email today from IRCC states and he is not sure how to respond since he has an outland dependant:
  • You and every dependant included in your application need to be in Canada to use the portal. If you or one of your dependants currently live outside Canada, let us know by replying to this message (click on reply):
  • You, as a client, will have to access the portal yourself. If you’re a representative receiving this message, please forward this email to the clients you represented for their PR application until they were approved.

  • A principal applicant can have more than one profile under their account in this portal. As the principle applicant, you’ll act on behalf of your minor dependants. Profiles for your dependants, who were under 18 years of age at the time you applied for permanent residence, will be created under your profile.
  • Other dependant(s) included in your application, including a spouse/partner and dependants 18 years old or olderat the time you applied for permanent residence, can either:
    • Allow IRCC to create their account under your principal applicant account. You will then act on behalf of them.
or

  • Give their own unique email address (e.g. gmail, hotmail, etc.) for IRCC to create a new account and complete the steps on their own.
Let us know:

You must inform us immediately via the IRCC webform of any of these changes:

· marriage or common-law union, divorce, annulment, legal separation

· death of

o the sponsor

o the principal applicant or

o any accompanying family member

· birth or adoption of a child, including grandchildren born to dependent children

· you (the principal applicant) or any of your family members have been charged or convicted of a criminal offence

What you need to do next:

  • Reply (click on reply) to this email ... and give us your personal email address.
  • Confirm which option (A or B) in section 3 above you are choosing for your other dependant(s) included in your application (spouse/partner and 18 years or older at the time you applied for permanent residence):
    • If option A, no further email addresses are needed.
    • If option B, provide a unique email address for every dependant included in your application (spouse/partner and 18 years or older at the time you applied for permanent residence).
  • In your response, for yourself and for each member of your family, copy and paste this template and fill in the information (*verify passport for the dates and location):
ü Name:

ü UCI:

ü Email (as set out in this message):

ü Original entry date:

ü Date of last time entered Canada:

ü Location(Port of Entry):

Thank you for the response @ legalfalcon.

He is not sure how to answer the email because part of the mail says:

He has to report accordingly. To achieve a COPR, all individuals in the application have to be physically in Canada.

Hi,

I'm not exactly in your situation, but I don't know which one is worse. Knowing you stuck at background check or (like mine) stuck for six months on final approval after everything passed. I can say that I worked in several countries and lived in several places. I hope you get your security clearance soon!
Hi, i am the same situation like yours, AOR June 2020, everything passed by end of Nov 2020 then nothing updated, felt stressed in the long waiting...

Dont worry buddy, apply for BOWP and try to maintain your job. Everything will go fine. I lost my father in India and could not visit my family but still hanging in here, so have faith in God things will go positive and soon we will get COPR.

Just keep moving forward. There are so many of us in the same boat. Tomorrow is a new day with new opportunities. Hang in there.

Hi all. I did an upfront medical on June 9th 2020 (my AOR is June 12th 2020). I am still waiting on my COPR. I understand that the medical exams only last 12 months before expiring. So does that mean I have to get another medical exam because IRCC are still processing my application?

You can get another medical done if you want but you can also wait until you get a remedical request from IRCC or an extension. Up to you.

I got my COPR 4 months after my medicals expired. They did not request another exam for my family.

Hi All , I received my GCMS notes today and everything has passed on 14/04/2021. Officer has put a note saying "Officer review : Eligibility passed, criminality passed, integrated search completed - NAI. Split print , All requirements met, Approved". Does this mean my application is approved?. Also Group name is added as "CPCO COVID SPLIT PRINT" what does it mean? @legalfalcon @caipsnotes please suggest

Does you page 2 of GCMS notes say "Approved" or it is just the note that says met.

Unless you see approved on page 2, a final decision is still pending.

Also, if you are outside Canada, many such applications have been put on hold until the travel restrictions are eased and such applications have been placed in groups.
