Does anyone know if Biometrics completed (exempted) indicate that Eligibility is passed?
I called agent on Oct 3rd and learnt that my Eligibility is recommended passed.

No, it only means criminal in progress (not completed). Nothing to do with eligibility (eligibility could be passed or even not started yet)

Hi all,

Went to the passport centre today to get biometrics done. The officer said that she couldn't get any clear shots of my fingerprints as i have skin allergies that causes my skin to tear and peel. Good thing is that i went to my family doctor for a note in advance in case the fingerprints cannot be read properly. Long story short, after several attempts, the officer said she will proceed with the picture and leave a note for my fingerprints with allergies accompanied with doctors note.

I just checked the portal on IRCC and see that it is showing:
Biometrics - November 4, 2020 Completed.

Does that mean i have passed the biometric collection?

Just an idea of my application as well.. Now that my biometrics collection is done, how long does it usually take to get to CoPR?

Medical: you do not need a medical right now
Biometrics: same as medical
Request for PCC: Oct 21/20Same provided Nov 4
Is there a reason why my medical has not updated to pass or fail as yet? I'm freaking out now.

Anyone still waiting for Medical updates? My AOR Date is Jun 01 but I haven't seen any updates on my profiles except the following (receipt for the additional fee)
  • July 16, 2020 We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

Did your medical status change to pass? My AOR is June 3rd and my medical status hasn't been updated

Hi everone ,
Since the VAC has been closed in india since the past 6 months I have not been able to give my biometrics, My AOR is june 2nd.
The medicals are passed dated june 29 2020. I dont check my profile that often
My question is does the IRCC looks into the file for eligibility or background check even if biometrics are not given?
If they do start processing what stage might I be ?
The Background check gives the below status

My AOR June 1st. Medical Passed and Biometrics received(23rd oct). Criminality check in process.
Oh, you are June 3rd with Criminality in-progress. I'm June 6th with criminality is same as you. They haven't touched my application since Eligibility Recommend-Passed and Bio complete Oct 15.

Called IRCC today. Aor- June 24th
Eligibility- passed
Criminality- passed
Security- passed
Agent was very helpful and patient. After hearing status of my application it was kind of hard to believe because I got my GCMS notes this week that were generated on Oct 28th (applied Sept 14th) and security wasn't even started. She told me that a senior officer will check my final details like expiry of passport and medicals etc and then isssue a COPR letter & it shouldn't take too many days.
