Just want to share my experience, when I had a ghost update last month, I called IRCC to confirm what was going on and they mentioned that an officer was working on my file and I had passed the eligibility. I am not sure what it means for you.

Glad to hear that your Eligibility passed, it's a big deal.
Personally, I'm fine if I don't get a single ghost update until the COPR, as long as I'm approved at the end. If I recall correctly @legalfalcon said that some applications don't get it until the end.

A GU is not mandatory and not all applicant see it. Some never get one and get a PPR, while other get 4-6.

Question - do you know how long can it take for IRCC to start processing Security?
(Not how long is the security stage - because I know this varies and it different for everyone)

At the moment everything is passed except for Security which is not started.

At the moment everything is passed except for Security which is not started.

In normal circumstances security starts immediately after eligibility is passed. However, now some files are placed on hold. There is no definite answer. However, before that you need to be sure that your security is conclusively passed and not just recommended passed by an assistant or analyst.
