I landed last 15th. I took the emergency flight. Everything was normal for me, but the very next day canada stop accepting people without PR card and citizenship. I was lucky.
I know the feeling of being stuck in the system and now the corona is making the situation very difficult for you. Hope everything come to normal soon.

I was lucky enough to get here but situation in here is worsen. I didn’t got the SIN because of self isolation condition on the airport and then later Service Canada closed all in person services. I am staying home the day came in here. Nobody’s home, it’s really hard to stay home all alone everyday but still better than staying in India away from spouse. Hope you all got in here soon and thing get to normal. Without SIN you don’t really have any choice rather than staying home. No SIN means no work, no bank account, no driving licence.

I am praying paji something happens soon. Modi is thinking to extend curfew and it will most likely go past April 15 to the 30th and God only knows after. I was thinking to go through our local MP closer to my maturity date for the application which was June 19 but i want to wait u til beginning of June to see if when I dia goes back to normal maybe he will het the DM and PPR, so lets see. I am glad you are with your spouse. I am lucky i have work and go everyday. But when baby is here i hope he is here with me. Keep healthy and safe.. best wishes for your family

@bassi4 a friend of mine landed march 23 and upto date has no SIN. She however got to open her bank account at TD sometime recently after self quarantining. I thought the SIN was mandatory but she got her account open. So IDK the procedure there

U can open account online and then they send u card then u call and make pin
