I have seen OWPs approved just 2 days after AOR for April applicants, and now its talking for forever. I wonder how the processing center works. :(

They are still processing OWP's from May. We just have to be patient until they start processing applicants from June.

I come on a working visa that expires 7 months ago, I received the letter Friday from border service, but I'm now married with a sponsorship application in already received AOR so I'm wondering if the border service an ircc in contact
Your status expired 7 months ago, you can apply for spousal sponsorship if you have 30 days left on your status.
If you applied in june and your status expired 7 months before June then you have overstayed. They are probably in contact. Have you extended your status in Canada?

Hi guys. Joining this tread as there is not a newer one. I applied in July 16. I am currently a grad student in Canada. Fingers crossed for my fellow July applicants (and others!!!) :)
Hi there,
There is a July thread but it's further down the page :)

Hi guys,

I've seen this question asked a couple of times but there have been no responses. Hoping someone has some knowledge on this.
My visitor visa expires in November and I'm curious if I will need to apply for an extension. My PR and OWP were received and I got my AOR last week. Does this mean I have implied status? Or will I need to apply for a visitor extension?

With thanks.
