thank you!! well, i'm the sponsor and my husband is the applicant, so i can only tell you his experience, but his plane landed in Toronto at 1:10pm and he was through customs, gathering his luggage, and finished with his landing interview by 1:55pm. there were still people from his plane coming through the doors when he came out! he said it was nothing - they confirmed his address, advised him of Condition 51, he signed a couple papers and was on his way! quick and easy

Congratulations!!! My husband finally got his PR card. They had sent it to an old address (grrrrr!)....

Don't hesitate to call the call centre if it's past 51 days....and if you are the spouse they won't give info unless you have a signed Use of Representative form

Hey! Is it 51 DAYS to receive PR card? Lol.. somehow I ve got 51 WEEKS stuck in head! I've been telling all my family that.. and they were wondering why in the hell that takes so long!? Silly!

Hello. So I just received an email from the visa office that says they need more documents to continue processing my application, and it says see below. The thing is, there is nothing listed below. It only asks for a prepaid parcel to be sent to them. Does this mean they're done processing and sending my documents to me?

I suggest to order gcms note,,, it is written there the date and what documents had been requested,, also the date and what documents you already submitted,,, u can also check what possible problems occurs reason why your application is being delayed

If they ask prepaid parcel to be sent maybe, just maybe they will going to return your passport back to u and copr et al,, and u have to pay for the courier service..

I suggest that you send a case specific enquiry to the VO with a copy of the attached email asking them to tell you which documents are requested. You might also need to ask for a deadline extension as you are not yet aware of which documents that need to be submitted. Ordering GCMS notes takes 30 - 60 days now and you likely have a deadline of 30 days to submit documents.

Check the email to see if there are any attachments as well.

I replied to the email to confirm that there was nothing else to send, and they said that was correct, and to only send the prepaid parcel. I sent it via FedEx today so will to see what they send to me before I request the notes.

So they asked you to send an empty pre-paid parcel to be returned to you with something they will put inside?

Wish they would ask me for that...I've been requesting my original wedding cards be returned

That is correct. I am nervous to find out what they are sending me because they dont have anything original that I need back. eCas hasn't changed either.

Do they request everyone's passport, or do they sometimes just sent the documents needed for border control?

Would you normally need a visa to visit Canada?

You can always order your GCMS notes to find out (but they take a while to get)

In the past I have not a visa, but as of March this year we were required to have an eTA. I got mine a few weeks ago.

Also, for some weird reason, my eCas login information doesn't work anymore. I followed the instructions for technical support, but got an email back from my visa office saying to be patient, and that they received my FedEx parcel. I wasn't even inquiring about the parcel!! I just wanted to know why all of a sudden the system was telling me that they can't find my information.

Hey all,

I know that not everyone who applied in 2015 has finished their processing. I noticed that no one seemed to be updating and maintaining the 2015 Outland Spousal spreadsheet anymore so I copied it and tried to clean it up as best as I could and called it UNLOCKED 2015 Outland Spousal. I suggest those of you waiting still for results update THIS spreadsheet. I know for those waiting it's nice to be able to see progress being made on the sheet.

NOTE: This spreadsheet is completely unlocked. Those of you who applied in 2015 can still add your timeline. Those of you already on the timeline, please update your status.

If anyone is a spreadsheet guru, there are a couple of tabs that I couldn't do much on (waiting times)...I changed many of the formula's to extend to row 400 which is more inclusive.

DO NOT try and add your timeline by clicking on the + on the bottom as this just adds another blank tab.

I can't find myself on this spreadsheet. I'm still waiting to hear back since they asked for a prepaid postal parcel to be sent to them over a month ago. I'm not even thinking about it anymore. It will happen when it will happen!
