Lucky you they had acknowledge receipt of your medical. Me thinks, your application is complete. Expect PPR soon.

We have a dependent in our application and CEM asked for her baptismal and school records, just a gut feel hunch that CEM is establishing her age and that she qualifies still as a dependent being 18 years of age.

Finger crossed that we receive PPR email next week. Good luck to us!!!

Contrary to your belief, no PPR! Got requests for additional documents. Frustrating. CEM, apparently, doesn't believe that my husband has plans of residing in Canada because he was here when we filled the application. He's there now. He requested for his employee contract which takes 3 business days to get done. D: I was both happy and disheartened simultaneously when I got the email (September 21). I just got my NBI clearance and another copy of our Marriage Certificate today. I hope I can send back the documents by next week.

Timeline is as follows:

Medicals - May 12th (Had to email to confirm they recieved results
Application sent - June 11th
AOR - July 17th
Sponsorship Approval & File transfer - August 13th
Application recieved in Manila - August 18th
Passport request and Police certificate request - August 25th

We sent the documents above on the 16th of September and they arrived in Manila on the 18th according to DHL tracking.

I'm sponsoring my Japanese wife via outland. The CIC just got my application today (June 30) so I'm a little late to the party but I figured I'd add myself to this thread. I'll add myself to the google doc as well. Thanks to the person who created it!

Got some movement on my case on the 23rd. Requesting for Appendix A, NBI clearance, passport photos and my marriage certificate from me. They have also requested proof that my husband (sponsor) has full intent to reside in Canada because he was in the Philippines when we sent out the application. He requested for his job contract on the 23rd which will take 3 days. He'll be receiving it tomorrow. Will send the documents out tomorrow or next day. Hopefully CEM will be satisfied and request for my passport.

We applied June 1st and this Monday morning September 21st we got the email Invitation to interview in vienna VO for next month we are so excited and happy its going somewhere finally.

sponsorship approval July
August 12 in process
September 21 Invitation to interview in Vienna

I think when interview goes well they probably stamp the passport same day and my husband is able to come after that. Is this correct?

My husband was 2 times in canada previously and submitted to stay but wasnt approved and was asked to leave and he did and then we met 2 weeks before he had to fly out.
We knew an interview will be asked its no problem just routine. The officer told him he could reaplly at any time. There was nothing done wrong just didn't get approved first time.

My husband has an interview as well. Our interview notice was 6 weeks from our notification. We found out on September 17 that we are interviewing October 29th.

Just curious if you have one in 6 weeks as well - like a standard time line...

My husband was 2 times in canada previously and submitted to stay but wasnt approved and was asked to leave and he did and then we met 2 weeks before he had to fly out.

HI. ours is set for October 27th and we found out September 21..they need to give 2 weeks to reply and confirm the date so i guess thats usually how long they book ahead. Seems reasonable Im so excited

Hi Mirjana, wow, that's a very quick time line for the Vienna visa office! Me and the hubby are not expecting anything so soon coming through from Vienna. Would you share your interview experience with us once it's done? Any guidance will be welcomed

I forgot to mention that we were actually not requested for her actual passport as she is from a visa exempt country.

It will just be a waiting game now. I hope everyone has a smooth and speedy process!

Anyone else with SVO? I checked ecas this morning and under Permanent Residence Application Status -> Decision Made
However, when I click into it, it only has the three lines:

We received ________'s application for permanent residence on June 23, 2015.
We started processing ________'s application on August 27, 2015.
Medical results have been received.
