Anyone else before the 15th of June still stuck at In Process?... I mean no Decision Made or SA... I am at 68 days and nothing... on the spreasheet people don't seem to update their status or now that they have their SA they just don't come to this topic anymore

I applied June 11th (they received my papers on June 11th) and I'm in the same situation as yours, still waiting. I submitted my file to Mississauga. I called CIC like an hour ago, and they said my documents are fine and that my file still in process. She said, She will send a notification to Mississauga, not sure what for,also she said sorry for the delay. She said, they are late. Also mentioned that Mississauga will contact me, but didn't mention when....I will recommend u to call them

I am a June 4th applicant and I have not received any correspondence from CIC whatsoever. I only found out that they started processing my application through ecas. The weird thing is that the sponsorship application status says that its 'In Process' and the Permanent Residence status changed from 'Application Received' to 'In Process.' So now both are in process with no correspondence yet. I have called them several times and each agent is telling me something different. One said it has been transferred to the visa office that my spouse is a citizen but not currently a resident. Another agent said they have not made a decision on sponsorship assessment yet and they need more time and he said he can't take action until Aug. 30. The last agent I talked to said the same thing but that she can't take action until Aug 27. It is now 75 days and still waiting...

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

So status changed to 'in process' for the hubby's PR on Aug 09, and I received the SA email 3 days prior on Aug 06. I have updated all the spreadsheets.

Is the process pretty much the same for all countries? Because I read some threads here about a 'PR kit'. What on earth is that? We submitted everything up front.

So I guess the next stage should be an interview at the VO for the main applicant?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong! Thx!

Processing time after SA depends which country are you applying.
You are only called to interview if they find something suspicious. However they barely call someone. =)

To be honest...I'm not sure if the change in ECAS to "In Process" for the Applicant is really relevant...as ours changed to "In process" as well but I know for certain our package has probably not even reached the visa office yet. However, I did see in an older post that when you click on "In Process" you get a number of sub-entries...such as "We received your application on <date>", and "Medical results have been received", and "We started processing your application on"...I think this last message when you click on "In Process" likely means they have actually opened your file and have started to review it. Unfortunately, the actual steps that they follow are not clear (and this is even more evident when you examine their procedure manuals...while the one for inland applicants is up to date, the one for outland applicants is very old (2006) and doesn't even look like it's being up to date. The inland manual mentions that many of the procedures also apply for outland applicants...however, it misses the key information about the actual processes. This is likely why things are so different between visa offices.

Well I finally reached them and I got about the same answers as you. I don't know why it's taking so long and I need the letter for Quebec to go on.

I got approved as a sponsor but still no information about receiving my wife's medical report on e-cas. Very strange. Does anyone have the same problem?

Yup, me too. I still have to check with the doctor whether the information got inserted properly online, and I might ask for another copy as proof to send to Vienna.

Hi all..

Well...I've had to send SIX case specific inquiries to Amman....one of them was because after sending the first 4 (I had to send multiple inquiries because of the filesize limit) I only received 3 email confirmation (even though after each one I have screenshots of the confirmation on screen). The last one was because my husband appears to have TWO UCI numbers...and when I sent a general inquiry about how to resolve this, I was told to contact CIC. Being outside Canada, the only way to do this is via case specific inquiry....

Just needed to share my story and frustration...hopefully it all gets sorted out. The good news is that I can access his ECAS online using the first UCI number they gave him when he applied for a TRV (before we applied for PRV).

I hope the Amman VO doesn't lose patience with me. And hopefully this is the last specific inquiry generated by me.

My process changed today from 'application received' to 'in process'. Now both accounts show 'in process'. No SA received yet. I was wondering if it means something! Thanks!

Ok, so the website says they are working on June 22nd applications, yet there are many people on the spreadsheet that are before then that haven't said they have their SA yet. So my question is, is this because not everyone is updating the spreadsheet, or have SA confirmations not been sent? Pre 22nd June applicants, Any comments?

Not sure, my app was received on June 23rd... no updates on ecas yet.
