June 2015 - Outland applications

God knows when their processing time website will update.. Its showing working on June 2 applications... mine is June 9th and they don't even check the status

Both parts of my application are showing in Process.... don't understand what is going on ??? :'(

My husband got the email, and he's been approved as my sponsor!!!! No more biting fingernails.....

Off the application goes to Vienna....looong wait time starts now...sigh.. :-\

My husband would like to come and visit me meanwhile, but we're on the fence about this. Will they let him in?
He's from the EU so he is visa-exempt.

If anyone can share their experience on this, that would be great.

I've read on the CIC website that you can live in Canada while your application is being processed. I plan to visit in a few weeks.

It's usually more straight-forward if a visitor visa is granted by CIC first- then the border guards don't need to do much thinking.
But I'm interested to know if anyone's spouse has visited from a visa-exempt country once their outland application has been filed?
What was the border experience like?
My husband will only visit for a few days at a time, since he's working in the EU.

Called CIC today... and they informed that our application is approved for sponsorship... havent got DM yet in ecas though
But a big relief

Cic updated processing time to july 8th. They received my app on june 9th. Aor was sent on july 15. I am worried now as I have not received any update from them since AOR.

Give it a few more days isookvi, there are many people before/around you that haven't received SA yet.

Yeah I'd say call in..Quite strange indeed! It's been a very odd week with CIC.

True...

Normally the change comes for 3-5 days, but this huge change in dates may be a typo mistake.. who knows..
