Yes you have to use sponsor info bcoz u don't have your own UCI number until AOR2

In Ecas, which I can finally get into this morning, it says that our application is "in process" already. So they've done more then just log that they got it, right?

There isn't much time between "application received" timeline and "Sponsorship approval" timeline at this point so I guess that wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Same for me! I'm just waiting and hoping I get something! I'm a June 1st applicant so I'll be able to call next Monday if I haven't heard anything this week. But I'm hoping that won't be the case!

Question about outland applications:

At the end of the 55 days (or so) it takes to assess the sponsor, what permit is given to the sponsored to join them in Canada? Is it a work permit, or a visitors visa or what?

Outland applicants won't get work permit. One can apply for Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). Though its hard to get.
