They use email. The only things they send via actual mail are your CoPR or when they return a Passport

I received only email not any attached official letter.

My wife and I sent in our application at the beginning of June through Canada Post, but neither of us have received an e-mail or anything... What can we do from here? Does anyone have the link to the US chart that shows the average timeline for Outland sponsorship?

@VGR1990 we've only just started receiving confirmations that the CIC has received applications from early June. Currently it's 40+ days after sending that you'll get this so called Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR). See here: only 4 AORs so far. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LAzbar2H01x8U78J_mL5LcMsMCT2_HN9bm5s5Y3gh-k/edit#gid=0

It's 30+ days from 1 stage AOR until you get your sponsorship approval, after which it is sent to your outland visa office.

US timeline for outland processing depends on where it is processed, but I believe it ranges from 8-10 months after sponsorship approval for the majority of applications.

Thank you. I'm just really confused by all this. All this waiting, it's scary really. How can I find out if Canada Post has sent it?

When you sent it with Canada Post, did you get a receipt with a tracking number? If so, you can check it via https://www.canadapost.ca/cpotools/apps/track/personal/findByTrackNumber?execution=e1s1

I have the receipt here but it keeps telling me invalid format. At the bottom of the receipt is R:#######.######; which I assume is the tracking number. But the website doesn't tell me what the proper format is for the tracking number.

Congrats to all who got Aor1... waiting eagerly for it

Congrats to those who received AOR today!

Congrats to everyone who got moved along recently!

I, myself, officially sent in the application on June 24th, so I think we'll still have a few more weeks before they acknowledge it's existence.

That's a little odd. I'm sure you could take the receipt into the post office and ask for clarification if that's the tracking number. If it's not, maybe they can look the package up for you in the system.

The format I got was XX000000000XX where X represents a letter and 0 represents a number.
