If they sent you a letter they will not be sending you an email.

Just received a passport request. Yay. But confused. How people handle this part ? I'm living with my husband in Canada but on visitor visa. Should I go bring my passport in person or what's the best option. I have no clue at all. A little help? ;)

Where did it ask you to send it in the letter. Thats where it should go .
 
So I just received an email asking for proof of my relationship and my husbands previous divorce papers. I sent in our marriage certificate, 2 years worth of airline tickets showing our visits, and pictures...anyone have any idea what more they want? I have no real phone records since we FaceTime and iMessage. Also my husband was never married only in common law so there are no divorce papers!!?? Any recommendations? I emailed CPC-O to verify what more they want, not sure if there is any other way to contact them.

They want anything that shows separation from the previous relationship. IE: Separation agreement dated and signed by both parties. Tax forms, and any Government documents that show his marital status as single after the separation date.

As for your relationship do you have log files from your contact with your husband? print some out a few pages from every month till current would help.

The tax form we had to send in for his sponsorship said separated or single I can't remember but I thought that would have been enough. We used mostly iMessage and FaceTime on wifi and my phone company doesn't have records of any of that because it was free. I did print out whatever I could get my hands on but its only a few months worth that I thought was okay. I have it starting back in November 2012 and we were together back in November 2011 but it won't let me go back that far! Do you think a letter from a friend here would do any good? I had even sent in a pic of our vacation in 2012 that had the date in the picture as well as pictures of me and his daughter!

Just an update to say i received my COPR in the post today!
I know I've said this in another post but just want to let you's know and give you hope! They received my application 9th June in Mississauga and its only took nearly 4 months to complete instead of 11!

I hope yours go as fast! :D

I so hope my hubbies come soon or even before xmas, but i'm not holding my breath . Good luck with your flight . I use klm they use hoppers. I fly Cardiff Amsterdam then onto Toronto . I don't know if you can use them from Newcastle but after looking at a bunch of flight for Dec today they were the cheapest .

I hope it comes quick for you! Yes I flew to Toronto with KLM before, they fly from Newcastle to Amsterdam. Yes looking at the moment, KLM and Air Canada are the cheapest but that could all change. I am planning flying out 21st January but I have to fly to Winnipeg once I land in Toronto so hopefully its not too expensive
