They may send it back or they may continue on with it and then deny it. Your best option is to cancel the application or try to contact CIC and ask for them to send it back so you can change it to common law. You might be better off just to cancel it anmd start over

If the sponsor is accepted , they will carry on with it , then deny it. They may not even send it back , but simply just deny it, then all the documents are gone. Best cancel asap and request they send all the documents back. You will lose the sponsorship fee and hopefully not the second part .

Taffy im jus going to go and sit and bawl..i swear to u...cause i feel so overwhelmed right now its nt funny...i feel so heavy

ok calm down we can fix this... Do you have the paper work in front of you . Have a look to see what was on the application. You can get your fiance to call them and tell them you ticked the wrong box, then they may send him a letter to fix it. I have heard of this on the site. I thought i had it all together too then after i sent the application i found out on this site that i didn't include a background check for my step son , so now i will be delayed another 45 days. We all screw up, lets try and fix it.

I applied outland application on 5th june 2014 as well. and visa office is sydney ( australia) .

I dont think you can add, until you have posted 10 times
I seem to be able to add myself... it just seems like a google doc to me that anyone can edit as long as you have the link to the doc.

Hi taffy, so if someone was going to cancell wouldnt they have to wait till they had a UCI # first?

They won't give you a uci #.They will look over the package and send it back ,or give you a file # where you could response back to. If you phone they normally will ask you to wait until you receive information from CIC.

So she cannot cancell it she hears from them?

I withdrew an application without a UCI #... granted, I haven't heard back yet, but according to the CIC agent the withdrawal is in their system even if my application hasn't been opened yet.
