I have no idea what this means but I wasn't trying to be negative. Just realistic. The original poster was offering time frame information based on THEIR experience but their application stayed in Mississauga. Mississauga's time frame is unrealistic compared to the rest of the visa offices.

Mississauga is currently giving out DMs in 2 months from when application was received. Where else have you seen that? I haven't seen any other VO do that. IF you have, please share.

I mean you are quite lucky being processed in Ottawa which is a lot quicker than the most according to some applicants who have got.

I know it is not easy being patient while waiting. Same to me.

It's not really luck - it's policy based on my country of birth.

If they would have kept it in Mississauga that would have been luck.

And you are correct, it is not easy no matter what.

I read some applicants got COPR very fast in Ottawa,London or some other VO. Mine was not slow either which was processed in Beijing. Mine could have been quicker if I had not submitted the old medical which expired two months after I sent out my application.

Good luck

Some of the Ottawa and London applicants have not changed their Vo to Mississauga, so it looks like it was processed fast . A few from the London VO who's application that stayed in Mississauga has been processed really fast.London VO is currently taking an average of 6 or 7 months , once it is received in London.

Received PPR!

Question: The letter states to photocopy ALL pages in the passport. Does this mean I have to photocopy each and every page, including those that are blank (e.g., pages with no stamps)? The blank pages do show a background graphic which is a part of the passport (they aren't white pages) but they aren't numbered in any way. If I do photocopy them, they would all look the same.

Congrats! I don't know the answer to this but I tend to just always do what they ask. Lol

Not every application in Mississauga takes 2 months from AR to DM, that's unrealistic. Mine took 5 months. I was only giving the person some ease of mind that it would happen that it might take longer than a few months.
I've read on this forum a lot of people having theirs processed in Ottawa as extremely quick.
Patience is a virtue. Rudeness isn't.

Congrats and yes, photocopy every page.

The ones in September have been processed in 2 months from AOR to DM. That is what I was going by. My apologies that you find my candor rude :) .. That wasn't my intention.

Finally got in process, after we had docs requested on Aug 26th..

Yipee!! :o 8)

Hopefully it won't be too much longer, for DM!

It is best to go to immigration in the airport nearest your residence. So if Vancouver is your last destination use Vancouver .This is important because you want to be able to get health care in that province and your sin #

I would have said the opposite. The sin you can get at any office in canada doesn't matter if it is different province from the address you give. Yes Health care they will need to get in BC, but I take the question to mean they are just doing a stop over for reasons of a cheaper flight. Immigration port doesn't matter.

If that's the case Kiwi and they have the time before connecting flight then why not . :D

I am getting so frustrated! I received an email asking for my severance of common law Union except I was never in a common law nor have I ever been previously married. Do these people actually read the applications or just throw emails out there so you feel defeated and have to jump through hoops of confusion!!??!! I really thought our application was cut and dry and simple! It seems like they have to find stuff to make it difficult and draw this out! Sorry for venting everyone I'm just getting to my breaking point with their shananigans!
