yes for sure I will let you all know. and yea I m planning to give a call tomorrow morning because today it completed 55 days. so I will give a cal tomorroe morning.

Just an FYI, even if your processing time is more than 55 days, since the website says they're working on applications received June 20th, you probably won't have any luck getting any information from the call centre if your application was received June 21st or later. I was in the same situation and they wouldn't give me any info...but I did get SA the next day. So it is coming!!!!!!

when did you received your SA? what was the timeline at that time? I guess it was 55 days when you were expecting your SA right? how many days after you heard about SA after applying?

CIC received our package on June 11 and I got SA on Aug 7 so we waited 57 days. I called on the 56th day and they told me since the website said they were still working on applications received June 4th, that they couldn't tell me yet whether it had been approved. So the next day I received SA (day 57) Basically you have to wait til the website says it's working on applications at least as of the day CIC received your application.

Got SA yesterday! Very relieved, but it came with a hitch. We applied Outland from Buenos Aires, and our visa office is in Mexico. In the SA letter, they said they were forwarding our application to the VO in Buenos Aires (which closed last March). I called CIC and asked what was going on and they said they made a mistake and would correct it. When I asked if they'd already sent the file to the wrong location (and would thus result in significant delays in processing it), they said they can't verify this! Argh!! As glad as we are that I've been approved as a sponsor, we're so frustrated! We thought SA would bring us some relief, but we're still just as stressed out!

if the visa office is closed, the file can't be transferred there, as there is nowhere to send it to. just relax and celebrate getting through the first stage.

I received SA yesterday!! ;D BIG relief. It's a little earlier than expected because it was only 50 days since the CIC received our file. However, I am still skeptical that it took our application 9 days to travel from Belgium to Ontario, but I'm just going by the information from the online tracking from our mail carrier. Keep patient everyone who's still waiting and congratulations to the others with SA!

I was wondering if i could get added to the spreadsheet. My application was received on the June 30th, and SA approved yesterday the 19th. So happy and so relieved. And now for the second part which is going through London. I hope it goes by fast! I am a Canadian living in Scotland, sponsoring my Scottish partner. I am just hoping that it all gets approved before my work visa for the UK expires early next year. Fingers crossed!
