I have got my GCMS notes according to that it shows
1. eligibility - passed
2. criminality - padded
3 Medical - in progress
where as medical for my son it says passed.
4. rprf - paid
due date - 2015/10/05

there is one note "Has a condition for which the potential demand on health or social service is not sufficient to exclude admission under section 38(1)"
"No survilliance required"

can any one say whether above statement has any negative impact or ap4plication is in good shape.

I am not sure what does that mean but when I see my GCMS notes I can see statement " No Health Impairment sufficient to prevent admission for medical reasons under Section 38(1)(a)
"No survilliance required".

My medical status is passed. you can check with your doc and ask... was there any issue in your medicals result

That means you "PASSED" the medical exam. It is literally what does it mean... Because medicals are handled in a different department, they can assess your medical results independently.

However, if VO hasn't finalized your application one year after your submission of medical result, even it was passed, you still have to redo the medical as it will be no longer valid.

I just got off the phone with CIC and:
As a June 23rd applicant from one of the European Union countries, with no 2nd review, eligibility: recommended pass, medical request in February I am not to expect my application to be processed earlier than mid-December.

Yup some of us were told the same last week but I'm hopeful that come October/ November most of us will receiver PPR.

I dont think they really know the timings .. they just set next 3-4 months date and say to every one.

Medical reports validity time is 12 months. If CIC decides your case and issue visa to enter Canada, the visa validity is 12 months from your medicals. If your medicals are expired 12 months period or about to expire soon, CIC might ask for medicals again.

We did in Feb 2015, its not expired yet

Hello all, I got the medical request for my wife from CIC last night. But she already did her medicals upfront and submitted to CIC through email. Also used the same medical report for work permit as well. Do I have to do the medicals test as per the request from CIC or inform CIC that we already did medicals and resend the the documents. Did anyone went through same situation. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Looks like no other June applicants have experienced this but I seem to remember some older cases had the same issue.

Maybe email them with the doc and ask them to confirm. See if you can get a reply within a few days. Or ask the call center even though they might not be able to do anything about this.

Anyways, could it be a sign that your case is moving. All about guessing. :)

We're looking to hear from CEC applicants who applied in August 2014 or earlier and haven't received their MR yet or heard anything about their file.
If this is adversely affecting your life and future in Canada we'd like you to get in touch. With applications not being processed for a significant amount of time we'd love to find out what is going on but need your help.

Please get in touch via email (all correspondence will be treated confidentially). Email: Megan.Batchelor @ cbc.ca

I just got a reply from CIC as I had raised a point of 14 months processing time completed.

"For your information, the processing times, provided on the website, is the average time it took visa offices to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during a specified period in the past. They may not accurately predict future processing times. "

If this is average I dont know what is regulated fixed duration now ??? ::) :-X :'( :-\ >:( :o :o :o

Please contact megan.batchelor @ cbc.ca and let her know the inefficiency and lethargic attitude of CIC. I sent her an email with all the details and she responded back asking further details. She is legit and works as reporter for CBC. Her twitter handle @ MegsBatchelor

Megan is based in Vancouver and is very interested in interviewing people and making it a national issue. Folks in Vancouver and Greater Vancouver Area, please send your emails to Megan and make this an ISSUE that needs to be addressed

Today, my MP replies me. This is the second time she follows up for me. The first time was in the late of July.

MP: " It's delayed. No deadline for finalization of your application. Contact me after 3 months. "

Me: " Do you know any reason?"

MP: " Your application looks fine. It's because high volumn of applicants."

Me: " Because CIC is only working on Express Entry?"

MP: " Highly possible. I am sorry and I understand your situation. However there is nothing we can do."
