I got my CoPR yesterday...having validity of 3 month...I am planning to do my landing on Rainbow Bridge, Niagara Falls...Do they ask for photographs at border? I don't have instructions in the letter received along with CoPR and Passports.

Got an e-mail from CIC for additional document request yesterday night. They have requested us to submit updated police certificate from U.S.A ( We got a request for it in Jan 2015 along with Medical and send it to CIC in Feb 2015) and also for Schedule A background declaration form ( IMM 5669). CIC has given only 30 days time to send the FBI clearance certificate. I am not sure if I will get FBI clearance in one month's time if I apply today. Can I request CIC for an extension if I don't receive the certificate within one month? Is police certificate valid only for one year? We applied for FBI clearance in June 2014 and received the certificate in August 2014.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Photograph must be along with CopR. If not, no harm in taking with you. Good luck

Your police certificate is valid only for one year, just like your medical. You should be able to extend the deadline they've given you. I would probably ask for the extension as soon you can, explaining that the last certificate took longer than a month to get. Good luck!

I don't know about the FBI document but for the PCC they would request an updated one particularly if you are out of Canada for some time. they requested my updated IMM5669 sometime back and I'm anticipating an updated PCC soon.

What... why they are asking again..Did you move somewhere during this period?
If not then you can call and check with Customer care or email back to them, mean time apply for new PCC..

Don't know why they are asking again. We didn't move anywhere. Have been in the U.S since September, 2013.

I was asked to give my PCC, T4 and NoA on June 29th, with a 60 days period to send them (I am an October 2014 applicant). I only got my NoA last week, but I sent them an email before the deadline explaining my case, that it's gonna take longer than that, etc.

My status is still "in process" so I guess you can ask for more time if you can prove that you asked for the CPP.
