When I press on the underlined word, it leads me to the next page which says: "we received you application on June 14th". Nothing else. That's what concerns me...

Hi Thaliada, I think you are fine! ECAS is a crapshoot, they only update it when they feel like it. "Decision made" can really only be positive news as I am sure you have nothing to worry about. You may want to give them a call anyway because after weeks of not hearing anything, my husband called and CIC said they had sent an email with SA almost 2.5 weeks before but he never received it. I am sure everything is good

I called them today, and talked to a very nice lady - Claudia. I got approved on July 15th, and they sent me the letter on July 16th. So now I am waiting to receive the letter in the mail

I am from upstate NY. Now we all begin the long waiting period. It seems like they are issuing PPR/COPR for mid-late January so I am hoping we get good news by December or January if they continue at this pace. Fingers crossed!

Ok, I have 2 questions, maybe someone can help me.

1. My husband came to Canada on January 8th as a visitor. We applied for an extension of his visitor visa on May 23rd. However, we did not receive any confirmation from them or anything else. If I go on the website where we submitted the documents, there is no news. His visitor visa expired on July 7th. Can I contact anyone regarding this? Should I worry?

2. I just received my Sponsorship Approval on July 15th. I sent the application with my maiden name. However, my passport is about to expire, and I was thinking if I can change my name to my husband's name. Will that affect the sponsorship process? Do I have to inform anyone? How does that work?

Hubbys bday today

Last year this time we were hoping we'd be married and together.....married we are...but so so far away...missing him so much!

I know i have a long wait for PPR and Visa...but God please help!
