June 2013 - Outland Applications!

In the letter I received with my returned application it stated I was missing 2 forms that they want filled out by my husband's 18 year old son even though he will not be immigrating. His son refused to fill out the forms. Also, all the information that he would have filled out is already on my husband's forms so, that was irritating. I contacted CIC and was advised to write a letter stating that his son refused to fill out the forms and send back the application. So, that's what I've done. There's really nothing else I can do. Even the woman I spoke to at CIC said we can't force someone to do something they don't want to do. Sigh...

I guess I'll be joining the July applicants. Please remove me from the spreadsheet, Thaliada. Good luck everyone!

I am really sorry Ksimental. You can't force anyone to sign a form if they don't want to. However, this seems like such a small detail they caught and they sent you back the whole application jsut for it . I think these people don't even realize the amount of stress we go through while we put the application together and then wait for it. All I can say now is stay calm, and I am sure everything happens for a reason. Have faith and send it again. My sincere prayers and best wishes!

Which means i still have to wait for SA.
Can anyone tell what are the contents in a SA mail? If anyone has received such a mail can share his/her feedback.

Mine still says Application Received. I'm really worried now. I'm the only one who hasn't had any update.

Our says "application received" but we got an SA in an email that states that my hubby has been approved to sponsor me... but they never updated our status either. we got approved on the 3rd of July. Nothing further than that. Been wondering what the next step is and keep checking Ecas! :-X

Capri_can we got an email attachment letter that stated that we were approved and that we met all the requirements. It also stated that application for perm. residence has been forwarded to the visa abroad and gives the Ottawa visa address and contact information. Hope that helps!

This morning, under Ecas, the status changed to Decision Made instead of Application Received. Once I press on it, however, it says "We received your application to sponsor *** on June 14, 2013." No e-mail either. Is this a good sign? Should I call them? Is the same as yours, Wella? I am excited but scared too. Decision made is only a good thing... right?... Any thoughts?

congrats thaliada,yes that is a good sign already..just click the urderlined word decision made and you will read when they sent you a leter, they will definitely send you a snail mail..you could call them.. I am happy for you..GOOD VIBES
