June 2013 - Outland Applications!

I've notice no one on the spreadsheet no one has "AOR from Visa Office" I got an email on the 11th saying they'll fwd my application to the Embassy of my country.

And the only updates I got are:

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on June 14, 2013.

Medical results have been received.



I heard they update this every Thursday of each week but no idea. I am not worried as Embassy have a way of not updating anything always and before you know it they give you some random information or none at all to stress us all lol. Then a few steps skip just to hear that you are getting the visa etc.

I think I will take a look at a few other peoples spreadsheet off this forum to see what the time frame is for the next few steps!

This morning, under Ecas, the status changed to Decision Made instead of Application Received. Once I press on it, however, it says "We received your application to sponsor *** on June 14, 2013." No e-mail either. Is this a good sign? Should I call them? Is the same as yours, Wella? I am excited but scared too. Decision made is only a good thing... right?... Any thoughts?

In the letter I received with my returned application it stated I was missing 2 forms that they want filled out by my husband's 18 year old son even though he will not be immigrating. His son refused to fill out the forms. Also, all the information that he would have filled out is already on my husband's forms so, that was irritating. I contacted CIC and was advised to write a letter stating that his son refused to fill out the forms and send back the application. So, that's what I've done. There's really nothing else I can do. Even the woman I spoke to at CIC said we can't force someone to do something they don't want to do. Sigh...

I guess I'll be joining the July applicants. Please remove me from the spreadsheet, Thaliada. Good luck everyone!

Thaliada i think that means they sent you snail mail. That's what I have been reading, if you haven't received an email more than likely its on its way! yay! finally congrats!

Id give them a call Thaliada, the decision has been made. Sounds like its positive. But give them a call so you can have some peace of mind!!
Got my SA yesterday and they haven't updated ecas for me yet. This may take a few days so it could very well be that you got it a few days ago

I think its a good sign,

if you still didn't receive the letter , u can call the CIC,

may be there a technical mistake who prevent sending the email

Yup that's the steps I was talking about at the top of the page! lolll Who knows!

I didn't get no updates. I found out some people got approved early for stage 1. And most get late emails about it while others get it faster then others. Who knows how they work these things at all!

Mine still says Application Received. I'm really worried now. I'm the only one who hasn't had any update.

There is nothing else other than the change in status. It doesn't say that we've sent you a letter, or any other notification. I will call them on Monday. I am busy over the week-end so maybe this will give them time to update the status further. Hoping everything is well. Thank you for all the answers and support!
