Hold up homie, you forgot to add me!! Hi, My name is Josh, and I'm from the United States. For months I've followed this forum, looking for answers to specific questions that I've had, as I started to complete my Sponsorship application. Well now I am an official member of this forum, so excited.

I'm being sponsored by my Canadian Wife. I did my medicals on April 10th, completed and sent the Application on June 10th, and they received it on June 12th, (tracking # said so).

Now i join yal, on this long wait and journey to permanent residence in Canada!!

Hi! We just got an email today for the acknowledgement. As per tracking number, it was received june 7 but as per email, they received it june 10
Today is june 29 phil time
And june 28 canadian time, i dont know which one u will put on spreadsheets
Now waiting for approval

They are currently working on applications sent on May 29.
June applicants, we are next.Keep the faith guys!

Our applications to cpc-M will be sent by my husband on June 29, Canada time.

It will be submitted in the Manila. YOur application will be assessed in Mississauga for the first stage, ( about 30 days), and it's mostly about you, the sponsor. That part is relatively "easy". Then the application goes to Manila ( in your case) and the real wait begins... after a while, Manila will ask for his passport (but they ask for it at the beginning of the process so it doesn't mean that they are ready to issue the visa, in Manila's case), and once they are ready to issue the visa, they will issue both a visa (in the passport directly), and a COPR ( confirmation of PR). Your husband will use the visa to get on the plane, and the COPR to "land as a PR" when arriving in Canada.

Which one here is his UCI? We really don' know.

that's not the UCI - UCI typically have 8 numbers. But not everybody has one, if he became a PR a while ago, then he won't have one. BUt it doesn't matter. If he doesn't have a UCI, or doesn't remember it, just leave it blank - CIC will find it if needed. Most people applying don't have a UCI and get one assigned when they get processed, so don't worry about it.

I forgot to add the "Additional Family Information" form. They returned my whole application back. I panicked at first, but I reviewed everything and resent it. It's been over a month for you, hasn't it? Do you think you should call them and ask if at least they received it? It says they are working on applications received May 23rd.

Ahh gotcha, at least they sent it back to you really quickly! Good thing you didn't lose a lot of time. That was part of my concern and reason for asking you, we hadn't received our app back but of course I was getting nervous thinking that I missed something. My husband tried to call on Thursday and kept getting a busy signal right away, so we will either try on Tuesday and/or I will email them and see if I can get a response. This whole process is frustrating and difficult but at least its out of our hands now and all we can do is wait. Good luck to you!
