Hi, sent my husband's application June 20th. They'll probably receive it on June 24th.

I have a question. I hope you guys could help. My husband sent me his passport along with his application. And I'm wondering if the passport will be submitted here in Canada orin the Phils.

It will be submitted in the Manila. YOur application will be assessed in Mississauga for the first stage, ( about 30 days), and it's mostly about you, the sponsor. That part is relatively "easy". Then the application goes to Manila ( in your case) and the real wait begins... after a while, Manila will ask for his passport (but they ask for it at the beginning of the process so it doesn't mean that they are ready to issue the visa, in Manila's case), and once they are ready to issue the visa, they will issue both a visa (in the passport directly), and a COPR ( confirmation of PR). Your husband will use the visa to get on the plane, and the COPR to "land as a PR" when arriving in Canada.

hello fellow june applicant...we passed our application last june 21...we dont have tracking to track our application...our consultant dropped it directly on the mailbox on mississauga office...my medical was done last april 02, 2013. it will be processed at manila office. thanks

Hey guys, just an update on my file. I received an email from CIC today, stating they have recieved my hubby application on June 06. They provided me with a UCI Number and a File Number.

If anyone is kind enough to show me how to keep a spreadsheet, I will greatly appreciate it.

I noticed on the CPP-O spreadsheet that you originally sent your application in the day before me! I haven't heard anything back yet or received anything in the mail, would you mind me asking why they returned your app?
