I noticed on the CPP-O spreadsheet that you originally sent your application in the day before me! I haven't heard anything back yet or received anything in the mail, would you mind me asking why they returned your app?

I forgot to add the "Additional Family Information" form. They returned my whole application back. I panicked at first, but I reviewed everything and resent it. It's been over a month for you, hasn't it? Do you think you should call them and ask if at least they received it? On http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp it says they are working on applications received May 23rd.

Hey guys, just an update on my file. I received an email from CIC today, stating they have recieved my hubby application on June 06. They provided me with a UCI Number and a File Number.

June 20, 2013 nagemail na nareceive na nila
June 26, 2013 nagemail na approve na to sponsor ang wife ko then sinabi din na pinadala na sa manila visa office yung papers ko.

As a newbie, may i know what are the important terms or acronyms here like, ppr, aor, file transfer, etc.. Tnx

First of all welcome and all the best!

As for the acronyms...these are what you may come across and mostly in the order mentioned:

AOR:Acknowledgement of reciept (when the CIC offices send you a acknowledgment of the documents/ file you have sent them)...Not everyone gets an AOR, so dont panic, if you dont.
SA: Sponsorship approval. This is the first stage where the sponsor gets approved and your file is sent to the concerned Visa office. Please check your processing time for this to know by when you are likely to get SA
File Transfer: Is when your file has been transfered to the concerned Visa office.
PPR: Passport request. This is when your visa office sends you a mail/email asking you to send in your passport.
COPR: Confirmation of Permanent residency.

Also, guys, if you could please communicate in english in these forums, it would be easier for others to answer your questions or follow what you are saying.

Welcome, but if you want me to update the spreadsheet, I would like you to speak in English. For everyone else too... There are specific threads that have their own language. Please, here, speak in English.

Tnx for the inputs, now i know.. My wife at canada received email yesterday,june 26, about her being eligible for sponsoring me, it also stated that Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. Will i receive any notification from visa office at manila that they already have our application? Or should i check it on application status once in a while. How long will it take for manila visa office to receive application?

samin nrecieve nila ay nung june 26 lang....cguro before july 7 ay mkakatanggap kayo ng emil regarding approval tpos ipapasa n nila sa manila...

I have added you to the Manila VO sheet as well. But I need to know 3 more things:
1. Are you married, common-law or conjugal?
2. Are there any dependents on the app, and if so are they accompanying or non-accompanying?
3. Your destination city.

I also added peter nepomuceno. I have all your information I think. But I don't know about dependents in your case. If there are any then please let me know as well.

Hold up homie, you forgot to add me!! Hi, My name is Josh, and I'm from the United States. For months I've followed this forum, looking for answers to specific questions that I've had, as I started to complete my Sponsorship application. Well now I am an official member of this forum, so excited.

I'm being sponsored by my Canadian Wife. I did my medicals on April 10th, completed and sent the Application on June 10th, and they received it on June 12th, (tracking # said so).

Now i join yal, on this long wait and journey to permanent residence in Canada!!
