Hi Whymee,

Can you please help me understand what is this GCMS?
It's basically a snapshot of your application - shows you eligibility details, etc.

Application Filed: Jun 27, 2013

Welcome, data :D

I can add you to our spreadsheet if you'd like, but I'll need a few more details - country of birth, your NOC, and when the application was received.

Awesome, another data point for people!

Jun 27 is the application received date. I have no idea when I sent it.
Country of birth: Hong Kong
NOC = 2111.

Thanks!

Sounds like you've applied under federal skilled workers stream. It's processed differently than CEC, but you can find its forum here - http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/

Hi Whymee,

I do not see reference to it anywhere in the cec application guide. Should I apply for it?

Probably not for another 3-4 months or so. It's part of government transparency to see your case - it's personal choice to apply or not - it won't impact your application

Seems A cap of 12000 has been made by new immigration minister chris. and stopped accepting cec applications for Cooks and Administration and some professions. very bad.

So CIC has provided a link to see how many applications under the various NOC's Skill Level B they have accepted. I know this doesn't affect us June applicants but it's good to know about and share with applicants who will be affected.

:)

Have patience.....I guess may be by December....but as I say it's a game of patience.....stay cool and calm mimi

You should've received a file number by now. Have you tried calling CIC?

Hello All,

I would like to join this topic.
My wife has applied under CEC in June and I am included as a dependent in the application.
Now, when I go to June 2013 CEC applicants spreadsheet I am not able to update my details.
Could anyone please give me rights to update the information?

Thanks.
