Well, once CIC made a decision on your application, either approved or denied it, e-cas will change
to decision made. Makes sense, doesn't it?
So I'm guessing at that stage, you will either get a Application Declined letter or if approved then it will be request for passport and additional fee??

Correct.

Hey Folks,

I got my AOR yesterday, file arrived in Sydney June 26, 2013.

Question on E-Cas: how long does it take to update? It still doesn't have anything for me when I check. It was an application in Canada, and it doesn't seem to have a CEC option to check. Am I in the wrong place?

Thanks

I got my AOR today, pkg arrived in Sydney June 27, 2013. AOR recieved August 20 .

Congrats to both of you.

I think it will take at least a week to appear the case on cic website

Hey guys, I have received AOR today at 8:28 PM Eastern Time.
App arrived at CIO on June 27th.
It's really great seeing those "AOR Received" column getting filled everyday.
Good luck to everyone else who are still patiently waiting!

Hi Guys,

My application has been received by the Sydney office on 24-June-2013 and my Credit Card has been charged on 30-July-2013, I have not received my AOR yet whereas other people who have applied after me have received theirs. I'm getting a bit nervous about this AOR. What can be the reasons of this delay? Do you guys think that my application is being returned for some reason? What's happening?

I'd suggest perhaps sending them an e-mail - from what I understand, your credit card being charged should be a good sign, so it's possible that your AOR was generated but hasn't reached you for whatever reason - and they should let you know beforehand via e-mail if they were to send it back for whatever reason, so no news isn't bad news here. Also, while there is a pattern of predicting when most people receive their AORs, it's not an exact science and some applications can take longer. CIC take a while to respond to e-mails (about 20 days?) so it can't hurt to send them a question about it now - I don't have the address to hand though, sorry!
