The last time I got decision made my application was refused within the week. Just a personal experience it could go either way I suppose.

I know exactly how you feel. I got a response from CIC as well an hour ago. I've started a separate thread for it coz its a problem in itself, if anyone has any input, I'd be grateful.

The thread is 'What to do when employer refuses to provide letter of employment'

That was fast, I got a response just a few minutes ago, after only six hours:

"Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your email (see below).
Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.
An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
For future reference, in all correspondence to our office, please refer to the applicant's full name, date of birth and file number."

The standard "no further action is required" email.

I have emailed them few times and never gotten any response from them.

Can you please share the email that you sent to them so i can use it as a template? please?

excellent. so now I know why they have not responded to my emails because I have not included the Application number, So I hope now they will respond to me.

it usually takes days to receive a reply, so do not worry if you haven't gotten a reply yet.

Hey cecapplicantjune ... No I haven't got my MR yet I just got an email asking me to provide an employment letter as the one i provided from the employment agency is not enough. (getting it from the employer was impossible when i tried last time). Anyway I have a separate thread on that where I've found some solution for now.

I thought it was my MR but alas... CEC is full on surprises.
